LEAFS x SCOTIABANK
THE SUMMARY
Scotiabank wanted to get the word out about its newly revamped Scene+ rewards program for consumers to redeem point for lifestyle rewards. Cardholders could now redeem their Scene+ points for groceries, dining, travel, and more.
THE CHALLENGE
Fans only had associated Scotiabank Scene+ program with cinema rewards with little knowledge of the new perks.
Together we launched a digital game in the Leafs app, a contes, and a tweet meet program encouraging fans to meet Carlton the Bear outside Scotiabank Arena for a chance to win Leafs and Scene+ rewards. Lifesize ‘rewards’ were replicated and staged in the square to showcase the breadth of Scene+ perks.
We also extended the program through morning news media to create the feeling of a traditional weather forecast warning viewers of the fantastic rewards raining down from Scotiabank and Scene+.
THE STRATEGY
Get fans who prioritize experiences the best life has to offer to see Scene+ as a tool that gets them closer to what they love faster by giving them opportunities to earn points with the Leafs.
